Some of the best word play you'll hear on a project all year. The beats are great too. Mainly giving this a 4.5 because it's ridiculous that this has the same avg score as Never Story. DiCaprio 2 is an improvement on all fronts.

One of the most consistent rap albums of the year, just da other day, workin out, 151 rum, slick talk, west brook, off deez and despacito too(ya there is seriously a track called despacito) is already some of my favorite rap tracks of the year. just da other day is so fucking good tho, its gonna be a while before i get over how incredible that track is.

Absolute underrated gem, Imo JID offers everything he does best here. from the downright disgusting beats/production to the incredible variation of flows and different tones JID can capture with his voice. More trappy so that can be a knock to some people but you'll be hard pressed to find better bars in trap most of the time.

when people proclaim you the next kendrick lamar, the next big thing, you better show you're up to that bar, even if it's not your fault that there's so much hype around you. jid obviously set high expectations following everything he did on the last couple of years, and i really thought he was going to give a huge step forward from his last mixtape, but what he got here, sadly, is just a bunch of cool beats and flows, some dope bars here and there and not much else, really. the middle portion of the album is very slow-paced and forgettable, the features don't bring anything fresh with them, the bars hide what is essentially a thematically poor project... this isn't progression, and jid failed miserably at setting himself apart from his peers. that's what his goal was.
