As suggested from the title, softest Demon Hunter album to date, if you count it as its own album separate from war. The little industrial elements, which was most notably previously something present on the Self-titled Debut Demon Hunter album, do work here. the melodies on these tracks are strong. The lyrics here are to the forefront and they are fantastic throughout. The second half is stronger than the first half. Due to the outside-the-box nature of this CD compared to other Demon Hunter albums, this album allows for a bit of experimentation though it is subtle enough to not throw people off. its still Demon Hunter.T he best parts of the more melodic Demon Hunter songs, for the most part, is here. This album is also a whole lot better if you spin it right after the war, further submitting my thoughts of this being a double LP. The song structure here is a lot simpler and more on the basic side, however, that is a benefit to this album and its tone. This is a strong offering from the band
