4.0 excellent | cjbizzlebizzle | July 26th 19 | Is it safe to say Full of Hell is more death than ever while still capturing grind, powerviolence and noise elements in their sound? It sure feels that way on Weeping Choir and in no way is that a bad thing. Full of Hell firmly solidify themselves as one of the most consistent acts of the last decade with their newest full length and at this point Dylan Walker is the monarch of extreme music vocals. It is true bliss to listen to his range on the record and even more captivating to see them live pummeling through these chaotic, violent and dissonant tracks. For anyone familiar with their expanded discography it is clear that Full of Hell have incorporated some new tricks into their playbook with expanded guitar elements (chord work especially) and in the best track on the album, Armory of Obsidian Glass, they are able to produce a true epic that wonderfully wraps up what the band is about as a whole. Slow, sludgey screaming sections peppered with eerie moans lead to a beautiful clean choir vocal section before the song explodes with one of FoH's best minutes of music ever combining all of the aforementioned. Not quite as re-playable as their last albums but when you give it a close inspection it is just stellar.

4.0 excellent | grandfather | May 14th 19 | These guys rule because they just do so much more than most other grind bands soundwise without it sounding forced. Wasn't sure about the dirtier production at first, but it works. Armory is a strong SOTY contender.

3.5 great | Bedex | July 14th 20 | I don't see how this is their best effort yet by any stretch. Sure, it does rally up a lot of their influences and shows perhaps their best bm side to this point like on 5. But first of all the shrieked vocals don't always succeed and are often not great like on 1 or 2 (where the instrumental is balls but the singer sounds like an angry cat), and their absence often helps, 3 feeling the best of the opening triad for that sole reason (well I guess also the riffs rip ahrd). 4 follows up with some noise sutff which I always like. 7 is perhaps the peak of the album, mostly sludgy, ending on a calm last third before a bm finale - showing once again that the band has heaps of potential. But it doesn't realise it quite, the album feeling erratic and not even succeeding at grindcore/sludge in places. 10 is a great example as it is followed by 11 which is far more successful in the same style, although the album conclusion is frankly laughable. 8 does it well too and has cool deep guttural voice, but also shows gimmicky traits here and there. On 9 the samples and noise parts are the greatest appeal. Idk man this is a fine effort but it feels like it mixes the best of their last two records with the erratic flaws of their debut. This isn't their magnum opus yet - or so I hope. 3.65

4.0 excellent | Doublez38 | December 16th 19 | I think it really kicks ass. It is ideal for getting up in the morning, going to church on Sundays and having a picnic in a family park for example.

3.5 great | Arditi | June 12th 19 | vocals are great, "Rainbow coils" is useless, "Thundering Hammers" is the highlight with the heavy-ass bass riff. Definitely the highlight of the record. Album Would have been better if it was ten minutes longer with at least another track similar to "Thundering Hammers". Massive respect for the diversity of the album. Grindcore, hardcore, noise, brutal death metal etc... It's got it all

3.0 good | gsboomie | May 28th 19 | Its alright in my book, I got really bored with some parts of this album, although it really picked itself up with, "Armory of Obsidian Glass". I'll be the first to admit that this kind of metal isn't always my thing, I don't think the band is anything super new, although they balance a large number of influences pretty well. I think this is an objectively good album, just wasn't my cup of tea, if you are into this sort of thing, then you will love this.

4.0 excellent | BenCee | May 21st 19 | Full of Hell just won't stop. The entire album is just dripping with malice, focused into a truly unsettling grind/death metal whirlwind. Harsh noise isn't usually my bag, but the group uses it pretty tastefully and it compliments the "brain-melting" vibe they have going on.

4.0 excellent | Chino smoking it up! | May 21st 19 | I praise the return of the Sludge and to some aspects of the old mix m/ (like those low growls answering to , no less guttural, high ones....UUUUUHHH?...WREEEEEE!...UUUUUHHH?...WREEEEEE!), there's still some death that was explored on Trumpeting...Recd Tracks - Burning Myrrh; Armory of Obsidian Glass; Angels Gather Here; Ygramul the Many

4.5 superb | KMassam | May 17th 19 | This might be my favorite by them. So many new influences, while retaining that core heavy as FUCK sound. Everything is amped up to 10 on this thing. Dylan sounds absolutely demented, the riffs are much more on point, and the drumming is insane as per usual.

LP, whilst still retaining the skull-crushing

4.0 excellent | spanndrew58 | May 17th 19 | This is what I?ve always wanted from them. It balances the noise, grind, dm influence, and experimentation of the past into one near perfectly executed little package.

4.5 superb | chilledpunkrock | May 17th 19 | Nice to hear them doing something a little outside their usual wheelhouse. It's still blistering and filthy grind, but there's some new stuff on here that works well. The weird dissonant riffs and extra instrumentation from the Merzbow collab are back along with some dirtier production that suits the music perfectly. Easily the most "metal" thing they've released so far as well, way more of a death metal vibe than they've had before. Somehow also managed to make the vocals even grosser than they already were before, quite a feat.
