This is honestly everything I hoped it would be. Weird, experimental, but in all quite consistent. Its quite a bold
evolution from the previous album. Taking bits and pieces and pushing them further and delving into some
bizarre yet charming new territory. Doubt my rating will change much.
Edit: yeah, after a few more listens, this is stellar. Not a bland moment imo. Kind of confused by the negative
soundoffs tbh.

Good beats but horrible vocals, Tyler tries to go for an experimental r&b/jazzy album but it falls
flat on its face with shitty vocals and awful mixing and mastering. Do you really need 3 songs
with the same shitty noise layered into them? Do you really need to pitch shift your vocals so
much when you can either learn to sing or pay someone to do the vocals? Tyler stans will eat it up
but I'm disappointed.

album's amazing, basically Flower Boy on crack with all the benefits and a little of the
setbacks of crack

Strangely intriguing and abrasive synth-pop that has managed to capture my attention for longer than I feel it should have. Too many songs I love from this album, Earfquake, A Boy Is A Gun, What's Good, Gone Gone/ Thank You, Are We Still Friends, and more. Tyler has crafted something special here, and I'm left wondering if he'll continue this new direction, or go back to his roots on his next album.

Huge disappointment from Tyler, flower boy was bad. This was even worse. Officially given up on him after this, Lackluster instrumentals that sound sloppy at best (which i like usually) But my favorite parts of the album are cut extremely short and looped into a annoying repettitve way that not only is disappointing but annoying to me. A huge step down from wolf i believe. ESPECIALLY lyric wise.

Not that he was even good back then, but are we just going to forgive and forget years of toxic misogyny and
homophobia just because he’s collaborated with a couple gay people and dropped some (now not so)
ambiguous rap lines about his sexuality? This guy is the most flamboyantly attention-seeking mother fucker,
except now he doesn’t have his “alter ego” around to pin it on. You can’t be Mac Miller, sonny boy, so knock it
off with the pseudo-soul shit.

Tyler has "evolved" and "matured" into one of the most boring rap artists working today. The Neptunes worship has always been there, but he's trended towards the worst parts more and more as his career has gone on, culminating here. It would be cool to see him try something radically different on his next one- like maybe rapping?

Definitely not what I wasn't expecting as a follow up to flower boy but I respect him for not banking on that albums success. A lot of these ideas are pretty half baked and he doesn't rap nearly as much as he should but he's finally written an album without filler because it's runtime is so short there's no room for it and it's definitely more consistent overall than flowerboy in terms of quality control

Continuing off of the smooth rhythms and flow of Flower Boy, Tyler tightens up his sound with great musicianship and killer production. For those who expected a rap album look back to his previous albums because you will find almost none here. But if you liked his change in sound from Flower Boy expect a great listen with many highlights.

Tyler dreams up a jaw-dropping follow up to a career high, fully blooming post-Flower Boy. IGOR is steeped in pop sensibility, the most accessible Tyler project to date. Less rapping and more crooning, while fewer features allow Tyler to shine.

Even if i prefer Flower Boy, IGOR is still a great album, its orignal, fun to listen and i didnt feel bored nowhere in the album. Each song flow naturally between them and are really great, i dont think there's one song that is not good, there's even Kanye in WHAT'S GOOD. Anyway superb album 4,4/5

I knew a lot of individual songs from this record, so I expected to be disappointed. But surprisingly I wasn't, I found the the tracks that I did not know were often my favorites, as good as when I first discovered the tracks I already knew. THis is what this album does I guess, it's incredibly fun at each relisten. A modern classic, dare I say.

Coming off of Flower Boy with very high expectations IGOR just isn't as compelling and Tyler lacks the some of the charisma and style he has on his previous release. IGOR does very well with the production and a ton of cool sounds and beats formed from the soul, psychedelic, funk and hip hop influences. On the other hand a lot of the albums mood is very repetitive outside of I THINK and WHAT'S GOOD which bring (what feels like) huge energy between the more bittersweet tracks that make up most of the run-time. Huge marks for the creativity and just how much depth there seems to be on each and every beat and the courage for Tyler to delve even further into a very funky and unique music making arsenal and put singing ahead of rapping here. Just a bit drab with a lot of stripped down sections seeing Tylers scratchy singing dominate and doesn't have the addictive catchiness that made Flower Boy one of the most replayable albums of 2017.

Tyler, The Creator has finally hit the mark with this one. Most of his projects have a tendency to be a little scatterbrained or lose momentum in sections, well not this album. This project is very well done. The beats were some of the best & most catchy of Tyler's career & The sampling was fantastic. I'd say the only flaw is that Tyler cannot sing whatsoever, although I guess you could argue that it adds character.
