For a band at the forefront of teenybopper Pop-Punk Waterparks experiment with different sounds and styles with reckless abandon. While Awsten's lyrics are at best serviceable and at worst embarrassing, there are so many unexpected turns on this record that keep it engaging all the way through.

Fandom is a bit like the album that kids will love because they don't have any other way of comparing, but clearly it's particularly a music that can be anticipated and that sometimes shows bad taste. Although sometimes the group tries to add back elements that differ to create something special it is very often a failure. Sometimes it doesn't have a head or a tail, sometimes it's too much

Absolutely adore Waterparks. I adore this album; a natural advance from the past albums. I adore Awsten's drive to record and produce music that he likes, that he finds fun, that his band members enjoy being apart of, and that he creates music he's so excited about that he can record songs in the blink of an eye. Y'all can diss, but he finds enjoyment in his art, and that's important too.

Waterparks is no longer a pop punk band, they're a pop band... which would be fine, if it was good pop music. Other than the standout tracks of Dream Boy and [reboot], nothing catches my ear (at least for the right reasons, Easy to Hate is horrible, actually feels like a Kidz Bop song). As someone who actually liked their previous two albums, this is a letdown.

Dream Boy and [REBOOT] are great, the rest is so unbelievably run-of-the-mill even for this band it?s painful. Awsten is one of the most unlikeable dudes on the scene though
