now this is some pretty nice harsh noise wall. this album is much more different than the other album ive heard previously from this guy, which was "Bodies Bear Traces of Carnal Violence". while "Bodies Bear Traces of Carnal Violence" wasnt really dynamic, and it had textures that were pretty same-y in the most unappealing way possible, it was still an rewarding listen nonetheless. "Flapper Influence From French Prostitutes" is pretty different from "Bodies", and it's better as well. while "Bodies" relied more on giant walls of noise, "Flapper Influence From French Prostitutes" relies more on creating an dynamic soundscape. the textures here are more interesting, the walls of noise are easy to get lost in and the shifts and changes that happen throughout the two tracks are easy to adjust to. it's an much more dynamic experience as well. rewarding ? yes. dynamic ? yes. interesting ? yes. good ? yes. worth your time ? i'd say so, yea.
