4.0 excellent | Lucman | November 9th 19 | This is a stunner. A mixture of emo, shoegaze, alternative rock, and even some Low inspired
slow-core moments. Beautiful album

5.0 classic | TheSupernatural | December 24th 19 | Cigarettes After Sex just got stoner rock pedalboards. Greet Death sound so massive when they want to be, but a lot of the album time is spent meandering through slower, quieter passages. This would be an easy 5 if they leaned into the heavier side like on Do You Feel Nothing. Edit: it's been over a year and I can't get this out of my head.

3.0 good | ellagos | November 20th 19 | Executes a group of styles (Shoegaze/Slowcore/Emo) which I all enjoy thoroughly but the songwriting and vocal performances never grabbed me.

4.0 excellent | misty | December 15th 20 | New Hell is a monstrously heavy album, in spite of its slow, quiet beauty. It's an album about death and sadness and loneliness, and it conveys it with powerful guitar passages and beautifully sung, almost spiritual vocals. This is like if slowcore pulled more influence from sludge or doom metal than it did shoegaze. I feel absolutely crushed under the weight of its melodies. Greet Death is definitely a new favorite.

5.0 classic | quetzal | December 15th 20 | Found out about this band from a doomgaze playlist on Spotify. Wouldn't really call this doomgaze but it does have some doomgaze elements. Anyway it's delightful, can't stop listening to it. Reminds me a lot of 90s rock, Smashing Pumpkins, some Radiohead, Built to Spill, even a bit of My Morning Jacket. Incredibly good vocals.

4.5 superb | AxeToFall93 | May 31st 20 | This deserves so much more attention, really unique blend of Shoegaze, Slowcore, Emo and even some sort of Stoner riffs. Exceptional songwriting, great melodies. Love it.

0.0 | Slex | November 9th 19 | Sounds a shit ton like old school
Coldplay/Copeland made an emo/alt-rock album.
The instrumentation is exceptional but the
vocals and lack of memorable melodies can be a
bit of a snooze. Damn fine album tho. Edit:
this is a hell of a grower
