This band went from something I bobbed my head to when I was a bright eyed 17-year-old to the soundtrack of rbegrudgingly doing my taxes and I?m not sure how to feel about that.

Last time I checked this out I concluded that it was depressingly ok. Now in my eyes it's depressingly not as good as it
could have been. This is pretty solid, but the production and lyrics (who TF writes an entire verse about iPhones) hold this
back from being excruciatingly solid. Oh yeah, and the Twitter drama. That too. 3.25/5
(3.25 --> 3.6) Mercy is so mid that it makes this look a million times better in comparison. Wtf happened to this band

Yeah, certainly a far cry from what made 'Greatest Hits' great, but at least some songs have something resembling energy and enthusiasm. It's like they're being held hostage to make borderline tired indie rock and they're trying to use the quality moments as a Morse code message crying for help. There's gotta be a pattern, if you listen closely.
