An absolutely shameful display of generic, uninspired electronic dance music. Every beat is the same, and the musical ideas are recycled over and over throughout the album. Not even the (mediocre) guest spots could save this album. What a piece of crap. I am disappoint.

The album, just as your review says, basically, will get boring after a while, but unlike some, I can't help but think of the tracks "It ain't love", "Bounce", and "Breakaway" as legends of this new "dance" scene. Even after it gets old, and older and older, I can't help but listen to the beat and nod my head. Great review, though. Cheers.

It seemed like this band started out not giving an eff about what was popular and whether they'd ever get played on the radio. The Looks perfectly summed up this feeling, and it was a great album. This second effort from MSTRKRFT seems to have an opposite mood. They kept the synths, but invited a bunch of low brow rappers to provide vocals. At times, vocals just kill the song but there are a few songs that are brought justice with the addition of vocals. It seems as though MSTRKRFT is aching to appear on tv and the radio with this album.
