I wish I could give this album a 0, I wish I could give this album a negative number; in fact, due to the undeniable fact that this album outright insults those who listen to it, I would like to slap each member of the band in the face (well, maybe not Wayne; his head would bounce back and his hair would poke me in the face. I guess spitting on him with utter disdain will have to suffice). *No joke alert* Immediately after having my mind oatmeal-ized by this filth I took 'Cult of Static' and did what any sane person would do as well: break it in half, light the remnants on fire, and then write an inconsequential review. Seriously. I'm not going to go through everything that is wrong in this release because there is NOTHING good. Even writing a review of this is a waste of my time. If you like this album, you have serious music issues that can only be solved by copious amounts of therapy or suicide (neither of which I condone, but both of which I would prefer to another listen). DON'T SUPPORT STATIC-X. FORGET THEY EXIST.

The raspy and unchanging vocals from start to finish make this an utterly forgettable one-
dimensional album. This is not the same band that released "Shadow Zone".

This album saddens me because you can tell that Static-X was on the verge of breaking up, and that Wayne Static is completely depended on drugs during this album.

It's sad that this is the album they ended the band on. Very few redeeming qualities on this release. The lyrics are abysmal and clunky, which matches the restrictively mechanical instrumentals. We're talking mechanical in terms of a rusted, dangerous factory machine, not a well-oiled sleek machine like Meshuggah. The vocals are the most monotonous I've ever heard as well. The only decent songs on here that rise above this dreadful sludge were the ones co-written with Tony Campos (Lunatic, Z28 and Stringwray) as the rest were written solely by Wayne Static. I bought this album on release and I have no idea why I haven't just thrown it out, it's that worthless.

Horribly embarrassing lyrics, crummy instrumentation, and nothing memorable in the slightest altogether round this out to be their worst effort yet. Not to mention, what in the hell is up with the album name along with the cover? That alone gives it a 1.5, and with the flaw-drenched seepage that flows throughout the ENTIRE album both make this album absolutely terrible. How did they go from a surprisingly great album like Cannibal to this watered down mess? Who knows, but thing is for sure; this album deserves a 1.

It's not bad. Well, It's not a Classic. You can hear it (and like it) a few times, but it lacks, in my point of view, some sort of musical charisma, that defined Static-X.
