I stared at myself in the mirror after listening to this twice in one day thinking, "that was incredibly enjoyable". I'm not going to lie, this is pretty much like embarking on "The Odyssey": it has a few not-so-good parts, but I think that's kind of the point. You can't treat it like a regular album, it deserves a less passive response. Overall, it's top notch if you have the stomach for it.

I've only listened to a couple chunks of this. I'm excited to dive in and unpack this. I was starting to run out of awesome drone to sink my teeth into. Glad I got at least 7+ hours worth more to go.

Daughter of Darkness is a challenging experience that has everything you might want from a NSB rrecord. or three NSB records for that matter. whatever... it's good, and the material here is rfrightenly consistent. Definitely not a NSB album for the uninitiated, but I could not recommend rit more to those who are already familiar with their brand of psychedelic free folk drone.
