Just finished the live stream on Apple Music. This album is ATROCIOUS. Not a SINGLE MEMORABLE BAR by anyone and the beats are just obnoxious at times. I have no clue what kind of artistic statement Kanye is trying to make with this but it's CLEAR, he should call it quits 100%. Here we go?Kanye Wests 10th album and after changing the date three times and making his fans wait for ages and hear this album numerous times that changes each time, it?s finally here and the album is better than Jesus is King, but honestly the bottom of the barrel for Kanye?s illustrious career thus far. Not to say there aren?t huge highlights on this album because there are. ?Jail? is an explosive performance by both Kanye and Jay-Z, ?God Breath? might be one of the best experimental and industrial hip-hop songs since 2000, ?Off Grid? is the exact sound that Playboy Carti needs, ?Hurricane? utilizes the dreaminess vocals and style of The Weeknd. Plus much of the ideas and styles are all going in the right direction. But god damn is this album is not the only way too long, but the style gets extremely dry after songs like ?Praise God? and ?Jonah? come in. Also, this really doesn?t feel like a true Kanye record, it feels more like Kanye bringing on artists he likes to be on it. So overall this is not a disappointment, it?s just an average listen.

Clearly mediocre ablum, but still enjoyable, in like 30 songs, its impossible to not have some bangners. Its just most of the songs are really bland and the album is too long, like i listened in 3 sessions, for what it is, also Kanye is really mid with his perfomance, Kanye fell off + the hood dont listen to him anymore. And why is there the glogogagalab meme thing lmaooooo. Anyway, pretty average 2,7/5

This is Life of Pablo for Christians, sadly enough, the worst part of this album is Kanye himself, writing bad lines over bad lines and producing this album very boringly, with the same boring bass that dominated every track. The production is just very bland compared to the rest of his discog and for it to be almost 2 hours long, it's not very worth it to me. Bump

Yeah this is the textbook definition of quantity over quality. Honestly, the stretch of tracks from Jesus Lord through No Child Left Behind is the best stuff Ye's put out in a while. But fuck me, it is not worth slogging through the rest to get there. I mean, it's not bad but the first *fourteen* tracks on this thing could easily be considered filler. The features carry the album on these tracks.

And then there's the Pt. 2's at the end, which add nothing to the originals or the album as a whole, and really aren't worth checking out. Jail Pt. 2 is especially awful with pointless Marilyn Manson vocals and DaBaby's woe-is-me bullshit verse.

This album demands nearly 110 minutes of your time and only ~30 of those are truly quality. Definitely not worth the hype.

Listening to Donda was an... experience that I'm still conflicted on. I feel like the tracklist placement was just straight up bad compared to the listening party the tracks felt very out of place.

There was a lot of decisions I disagree with that could've made this album a 4 or a 4.5 for me.

The vocals were great nothing super out there but vocals on tracks like 24 and No Child Left Behind really make this album.

For the rapping segment of the album I wasn't impressed either I think in terms of rapping he really shines on tracks like Ok Ok and Heaven and Hell I mean we all know Kanye will do well in terms of flowing on a beat.

As much as I'd want to give this album a 4 i just can't due to the stupid decisions made.

But I honestly think some of Kanyes best work on here like songs like Jesus Lord, Come to Life, and Moon are some of my favorite Kanye tracks to date.

Other than that I don't really have much to say right now but I'll make a more comprehensive review later on today.
