3.0 good | nash1311 | December 1st 23 | Classic ?boring? Plini. A lots happening and nothing is happening at the same time. A bit too in one and out the other for me. Ember pretty far and away the best here. Was hoping for more

4.0 excellent | ajcollins15 | December 6th 23 | Australian-based guitarist comes through with another jammy and ethereal style of progressive rock and djent guitars with his sophisticated use of jazz progressions. Although his fits in the same structure as it always does. It?s always a nice change of pace from a lot of heaviness we see from modern djent. The EP is simple and you?ll be jamming out for 25 minutes.

3.0 good | PFKlax | December 3rd 23 | Feels a little phoned in and uninspired for Plini. Tosin guest solo is a complete non-event. It's not bad by any means but I found Ember to be the only track that I keep going back to.

4.5 superb | Bro has djent in his pie | December 1st 23 | It's very hard for me to dislike a Plini release.. articulation is always of the highest caliber, always with the cosy melodies, and can be used as background music but also has lots of nuances to hone in on active listening, the main reason I like this type of music. This release is fairly similar to his previous LP "Impulse Voices", while also perhaps letting more of the shimmering brightness of "Handmade Cities" come through a bit more. I will say as of now the bookends are my favorites, and the other 3 tracks will take a bit to grow, but I think they'll get there.

3.5 great | Vanilla Scoop Rangler (don\'t come near me I have a gun) | November 11th 23 | The desert sun is blazing, the sweat trickles on the back of my neck while I'm down on my knees. I thirsty, hungry, possibly gonna have heat stroke. And then, a fuzzy image appears in the distance. I draw near it, itching closer to it's presence. Could it be? Did a god bless me? Even better, I have been saved! It was Plini with a sick new LP. It was a bit hazy, but I could hear his long scale bends and warm and natural flavor of prog. He finally came back, even though he already did other singles this year that no one gave a shit about, but THANK GOD HE IS BACK! I had it at my fingertips, it felt so real. And just like that, it was just a mirage. It was gone, nowhere to be seen, just some plastic bottled water with some bread.
