While Bleeding Through see's a drastic increase of extreme metal influence with their self titled album, even the black metal atmospherics and death grunts can't help you from thinking this is all stuff you've heard before.

Sounding unfortunately almost the same as all of their previous work, except with a few new trinkets thrown in, Bleeding Through refuse to improve and thus fall into their old pitfalls and pumping out continuous generic metalcore with overused riffs and a fair deal of chugging.

You guys gotta look at this album from the band's perspective too, it's not meant to be please the masses metalcore, they've embraced their black metal roots, and if you're actually listening, the riffs are notcompletely ripped off, some sound similiar but there a lot of keepers. The lyris are top knotch on this CD, and theyve definatly matured. While not an enormous step forward, this cd is definatly not a step back.

Why is everyone hating? You are all acting surprised that the album sounds the way it does.... its bleeding through, its the same exact shit they have been making for the last ten years.

Listened to the album stream on their myspace page and already got this at a 4 after one listen. Buying the album as soon as i get payed on thursday and i cant wait. They've definately upped the extremities that little bit further this time round (probably with david nassie now in the band). Really can't wait to get my hands on this!!!!

Listened about five more times and this is the worst Bleeding Through release they have ever done. The epitome of boring, cliche, and overdone. This is coming from a diehard metalcore fan.
