Quirky, extravagant, interesting and unique. Imperfect Harmonies isn't as catchy as Elect The Dead and needs some time to sink in, but it's woth every second.

Serj's "Imperfect Harmonies" is an example of an experiment gone terribly wrong. The lyrics, and songs are disorganized, and leave the listener wondering what they're listening to. The orchestral sections are out of place, and lend nothing to the tracks, which could have been better with a simpler feel.

i desperately wanted to like this album. Serj has been a long time favorite of mine, and in my mind, Elect the Dead was essentially just a 6th SOAD album. I was expecting the same from this album, but I was left disappointed. I fully appreciate Serj and his musical talents, and I don't think there's anything wrong with him exploring other types of music. hopefully i'll be able to enjoy his other solo efforts as that seems to be what he's focusing on nowadays, but in the meantime I'll be patiently waiting for System to get back together.

Was expecting an album that wouldn't even live up to Elect The Dead's average standards. I was pleasently surprised. The quirky vocals backed by an all involved orchestra makes this record hella unique
