The album sounds good, but they lack creativity. All songs sound the same.

Well this band got all new members except for one guitarist. Well I hated their old vocalist so I had high hopes for this record and the new vocalist didn't disappoint. He reminds me a little of Matt from MCMB with the vocals and The band as a whole sort of reminds me of MCMB as well with the chug chug style guitar playing. I also like that this record has guitar solos (something that is pretty rare in modern metal core) and clean singing.
So overall I like the fact this band has clean singing/choruses even if the clean vocals are only average. It at least makes the songs memorable/easier to sing a long to. And the fact they add solos makes this stand out, at least in my mind, a little more than your run-of-the-mill metalcore record. This is definitely cd that I'd re-listen to.

This album is pretty upsetting to listen to, and for only one reason. Chug Chug Chug. This album has waaaay too much chugging. There's so much of it that sometimes I wonder if the band borrowed a guitarist from Mychildren Mybride. It's not ALWAYS that bad but a lot of the time it is. On the upside, the new band members (which includes everyone but the guitar player from the last album) are pretty damn good at what they do. The new drummer is great, has some pretty fast feet, and plenty of entertaining fills and rolls. The guitar solos that you can find here are pretty decent, nothing really impressive, but at least it's a change. The Vocals are tons better then on the last album. Max (the new lead vocalist) has a much more powerful voice then the last guy, and he can go pretty low. This album could have been much better if the guitarist wasn't such a lazy ass. I'm giving the album a 3 because aside from the guitar playing, the album was pretty good.
