Mellow female fronted indie pop with an electronic vibe. Despite the upbeat tempos, the album still has a dreary, gritty feel that contrasts really well with the female vocals. Think Eisley with a dirty edge (and no harmonized vocals).

'Threads' is most notably a display of an attitude than substance. Now, Now's intent here is to make a statement of their presence. They are indie semi-darling and want to be taken seriously. But it comes in an array of vague lyrics, repetitive song-writing and some drowsy atmosphere.

This album is disgustingly hipster, almost like the band members were just shouting "WE AREN'T MAINSTREAM". I can practically hear the guitarist pause to readjust his thick-rimmed glasses a few times.
