4.0 excellent | kevvinpariah | April 26th 12 | Alright, I have read a lot of reviews and thought that I would try writing one for the first time. First off, I am 17 and currently in High School and first listened to Hollywood Undead in 8th grade and immediately was hooked and I couldn't explain why. I have always listed to heavy metal and the 'core' music that people call nowadays. I listened to Swan Songs for over a year pretty much all the time. Then after a little while I Heard the song Hear Me Now by Hollywood Undead and it was really bad and it didn't sound right. After doing research i found out about what happened to Deuce. I followed him for months with his solo career and listed to tracks from his EP's. I thought that they were... ok to say the least. Very repetitive at some parts and the music itself seemed to be lacking something. Maybe it was the poor audio quality or something else, but it just didn't seem to do it for me. Then I heard the songs 'Let's Get it Crackin,' 'America,' and 'Help Me,' and instantly remembered why i loved hollywood undead in the first place. DEUCE. I was very excited to pick up the CD and listen to it all the way through. Now that i have gotten my life story of Deuce and Hollywood Undead out of the way, let this review begin. The first track was "Lets Get It Crackin" (score) and I was pumped to get through the rest of it. America is an awesome song referring to how the world views America and how we seem to be nothing more then a violent powerhouse of a country. Then songs such as "Nobody likes me" made me think about how he and his guest vocalist Ronnie Radke in the song have a lot in common with what happened to them in their past such as getting screwed over with their former friends and bandmates. Throughout the cd, most songs have special guest vocalists like, Truth, Jeffree Starr just to name a few. Listening to the album, i have picked up on a lot of similarities with this, and Swan Songs. Which is EXACTLY what deuce wanted to do for the fans because he knew we loved that cd so much. A lot of the lyrics are very vulgar and make Deuce seem like a pompous 'in your face' prick, but the fans love it and thats all that matters. I love how this album is like a Party that tells a story for his life and how much he has matured (bare with me here) as an artist to become more then just a 'chorus singer.' All in all, this album is well produced, creatively written, very fun, and very in your face with Deuce saying that you can either love him or hate him but he is always going to be around.

5.0 classic | acad | April 18th 12 | I'm supposed to be the one who brings us all together
Weak or strong, not just a song
We sing along when things go wrong
You will need me when you fall
I will need you when I'm wrong
Tears lead me on
They let me lead you so far
Weak or strong, I'll hold your arm

4.0 excellent | emogirl16 | September 25th 12 | I found this album really good because Deuce is problay one of the best singers I have ever heard not including myself. Im sure if the writter of this so called "Reveiw" actualy knew Deuce as a person he would most likely think hes a pretty cool guy. And saying that Deuce is an asshole???? I think you're the asshole HendogMC so have a nice day and suck a dick

4.5 superb | mvrk10256 | May 7th 12 | This album really makes you understand just how Hollywood Undead was put together. Deuce was the heart and soul of that band, and now he has gone his own way and its more of the same, but its amazing. rBasically if you enjoyed HU albums you are going to love this. He has great rhymes, ideas, and flows. Then again if you hated HU you are going to hate this. rThis will be spinning in my car for a while. I love it.

5.0 classic | SKULLDEV666 | April 23rd 12 | This guys voice is the only thing that made HU special at all. Why they didn't just kiss his ass and let him take his time to create awesome songs will always puzzle me. J3T and the other guys with there dicks in there hand will always sound like an overproduced spinoff of Deuce, period!

2.5 average | wadepolichka | February 14th 16 | Some songs on this album are good or catchy at least. My favourite songs would be America, The One and Nobody Likes Me. Although lyrics are most of the time(beside America and maybe Gravestones always) bad, the beats are somewhat enjoyable, especially Let's Get it Crackin', I Came to Party and Help Me(that bass riff is really catchy). On the other hand, the guitar in the chorus of America is basically the same guitar riff from the chorus of Hollywood Undead's Young, just one fret lower. rThere is a few of guests, the only ones worth mentioning in a good way are Ronnie Radke(raps on Nobody Likes Me) and Gadjet('Till I Drop). If it wasn't for Deuce's parts where he sings, their vocals would be the highlight for this album.rAll in all, I think this album is average with catchy choruses, fun beats and a few lines that are kinda good in my opinion r("Goodbye, goodbye. Everything will be alright.rGoodbye, goodbye. I promise I'll be by your side.rGoodbye, goodbye. Rest in peace alone.rI wouldn't put a fucking flower on your gravestone." -Gravestone) and a thousand times mentioned America being its highlights, while lyrics(stupid Freaky Now), the HU dissing('Till I Drop), everything Starr has said in any song on this album, and some "i am the gangsta hear" themes (Don't Speak Bitch)bringing the album down.rThese are my reasons to give this album average rating.

3.5 great | rcsb520 | January 6th 14 | Every album has its high and low points. Ex-singer of Hollywood Undead, Deuce, had just released his debut album back in April 2012. It had sold 11, 425 in the first week and had sold 153,000 units by April 2013. The album can be seen in positive and negative lights. Positive lights would be songs such as “Help Me”, “Nobody Likes Me”, “Til’ I Drop” “I Came To Party” and of course Deuce’s number one single, “America”. The choruses, Deuce’s specialty, are of course funny, passionate, or serious. For a debut album, in my opinion, Deuce had chosen many good people to do collaboration with, Travie McCoy of Gym Class Heroes, long-time collaborator Truth, Ronnie Radke of Falling In Reverse, frontman and rapper of alternative group Kinda Major, Gadjet, rappers Veze Skante, and Skee-Lo.
The only collab I had trouble with was Jeffree Star. He had collabed on two of the “nastier” songs of the album “Let’s Get It Crackin’” and “Freaky Now”. Though the choruses are catchy, Jeffree Star seems to ruin it for me whenever I listen to these two tracks due to his crude and uncomfortable lyrics. Deuce had given a warning that the tracks would be “nasty” and it was my mistake for not listening.
I had listened to Escape the Fate before when I was younger when they had come out with Dying Is Your Latest Fashion and this also led me to Falling In Reverse. I had not known who Ronnie Radke was but when I heard him sing and then heard him rap on the album, I was amazingly surprised. Some may say beginners luck, I say genius. I’m also a fan of how Deuce collabs with talented, but generally less known artist. I had no idea who Truth, Gadjet, or Veze were. But I’m glad I had listened to the tracks because these three are extremely talented, especially Gadjet who some other fans have compared his vocals when rapping to Eminem’s. I give the album a 7.5/10 for creativity and style.

2.0 poor | MegaJake1024 | November 28th 12 | Hysterical ratings distribution. This album is very catchy, but the lyrics are absolutely atrocious and Deuce can't rap. Only good song is America. All the others have good parts that are ruined by other parts. And Star needs to not be on any songs next time, cause he also is an automatic song ruiner.
