Neither have I, sounds pretty great from what I've heard but I've been very picky about my techdeath lately so who knows if I'd be able to enjoy it at this point

you should change that

around a 3.3 for me atm

Album Rating: 3.5
talons this sounds nothing like most tech death, give it a shot

Tech death isn't really my thing usually but this damn sure is. [2]

Jamming this for the first time right now, just Fantano's negative review btw
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.0
Wow, this is actually really good. YOU'RE WRONG, FANTANO!
|
| |
the production is bugging me so far though, like he said
|
| |
Fantano said himself he's not a big fan of tech death so I really don't think his verdict is one to take into heavy consideration.
Albums got plenty of good and sometimes even stunning moments, but the production on this thing is absolute dick cheese
|
| |
it's a high 3.5 for me, the production is just really grating sometimes. some of the melodies are truly stunning though
|
| |
at least Rick Rubin didn't get his hands on it
|
| |
Its a bare minimum 3.5 for me

This has some epic melodies on it.

I'm gonna be saying this cus its how i feel, hope none of you take it personal as none of that is
intended. But bros. I bet my ass that around half of you will eventually lower their scores for this
album, if some haven't already. This hit the ground in the exact way all those "ultra holy shit"
hyped albums do.
Not saying it might not be a 4, 4.5 or even a 5 to anyone, i'm not even close to that but thats just
me. But seriously a lot of hype and worldwide press bandwagon is carrying this release right now.
Yours truly,
nomnomnom

I'm actually jamming this now, believe it or not...
|

I get that this is produced in a weird and not-ideal way but, like, at the same time I feel that basing lukewarm feelings on this album on something like that is a lil petty
There are tons of pretty cool riffs and such on this album that I'm able to look past the production, which I don't think is anything insanely bad either
