Banger of a track, still surprised how much this has grown on me. Started as a 2.5 and I could see this being a 4 at some point.

The album is fantastic tbh, maybe a bit too clean and missing some variation to the formula, but it's too short to grow stale imo. Really underrated.

Yea, I think it just had a lot to live up to with their back catalogue being near perfect. I remember preordering the vinyl for this and being pretty disappointed.

That's fair tbh. My biggest gripe is, that it's missing a song like Peep Show or In This Light

Death of a dead day also has that awesome stretch of When the moments gone to Where do we fall. Really well done “softer” songs by these guys.

My biggest gripe is spencer showing up in here, but people like him so I deal.

Spencer isn't very present though. His performance here just adds a little flavour. I dig it.

I don’t like Spencer at all, but his feature isn’t bad here.

yea Spencer is obnoxiously awful but he nailed that hook on Cracks of Light
|

The riffing alone in Cracks makes up for his feature

The riffing is what keeps me from skipping the track. I just don't like Spencer's melodies most of the time. Clearly a talented dude.

I do like how my vinyl for this has a sticker with a Spencer quote essentially saying “these guys r cool Death of a dead day was my jam”.

wow lol I've started enough Sikth > Periphery shit on this site over the years so I'll skip it this time
I also really wish this had a "Where do we Fall". That song is probably my favorite Sikth jam.

A ballad type of song would have helped too

Yeah I kinda consider WDWF a ballad, even if its not *quite* as down as Peep Show or In This Light. I guess its just because it's mostly Justin.
