probably not necessary yeah but everything from this era was pretty great, I wish he hadn't immediately reverted back to his old style after this lol
don't sleep on the Vapour Trail Lullaby single, one of his best songs

It seems like each time hearing this all the way through, I get through the first half and think “This is wonderful, might rival Wilson's next two. I should raise my rating.”
Then I listen past No Twilight and think, “oh right, that’s why I haven't raised my rating.”

*Sigh* the good old days. Probably the most interesting album Wilson’s made even if it’s far from my top favorite, though C/C probably equals this if you include the bonus tracks. Hope Harmony Codex is at least as great as either, will surely be another new direction.

About to 5 this man's first 3. Hand Cannot Erase was always a 5 really, but this one is also a masterpeice man. Steve is a genius, we are blessed to have such an emotional, incredible songwriter with a sensitivity to produce music the way it should be produced.

Did Akerfeldt borrow Port Rubicon for Heir Apparent? Or maybe the other way around considering they're buddies
