i have a penchant for over-rating and under-rating arbitrarily and nothing in between so i have to admit i really do not like a lot of the songs on this but I Got It alone is enough to make me stop everything im doing and dry-fuck the nearest surface for 3 minutes straight so.

I Got It definitely the stand-out but Porsche makes my pussy pop too
the rest isn't stuff I will return to but over-all just impressed with the direction and production choices because I was really close to writing Charli off as doomed to fading into obscurity along with Tove Lo

depending on the critical circles you roll in Pop 2 was the more acclaimed album (BNM vs a 6 point something on P4K and a lot more places on EoY lists etc). I think the sput consensus is an outlier in that regard
then again the writer of the pitchfork N1A review is my editor on another site and our scores/opinions there rarely if ever align so hey music writing and appreciation is subjective who'da thunk
