24 Light-Years is so far and away the best track on here that I feel bad for the rest of the songs. Stone Leader Falling Down is good for that 'shuggah worship but then falls into the same weak chorus as the rest of the tracks.
And yet I still root for these guys. The production is massive on here.
New song is good too!

These guys are so perfect live. Dream come true to see them. Never thought a group like this would play my hometown, but it happened

This album is probably a 2.5 or a 3, but Future Bird is such a perfect song that I cannot shit on the album too much. Napalm, Freak, Stone Leader Following Down and Inside Your Fur are completely passable. When 4 of your 9 tracks are "skip button" worthy, you didn't do a good job. But Future Bird... oh my, Future Bird...

Yeah, the 4 songs I noted are completely passable. Probably bang hard AF live, though.

That's a relatively high rating for~50% of the album being skippable tbh

Yeah, I really think Future Bird is that good, and I'm not shy about saying "one song is so good it justifies the album existing." At one point I would've been, but I'm not anymore. For me that song is worth the price of admission; and, as a bonus, said album happens to have 4 other songs that are pretty good on it. 4 of the 9 for me are skippable, but not bad - just boring. Skippable. I don't feel like I am missing anything by jumping those tracks, but they aren't *bad* songs. Maaaybe Freak is. Could lower to 3.5 potentially. But I like VOLA, eff it, they get a 4.

Yeah I mean it's fair enough, that's your standard, it just gives a pretty big pass to the alb for falling short a near-majority of the time.
