I like bm to have more raw production or dissonance or something. Even on the melodic side of the spectrum, Volahn or Sargeist sound more to my liking. Lots of conventional, consonant, almost power metal type progressions on this. But it's still cool.

Just discovered these guys today and I'm hooked. I strongly prefer bm that has uplifting / bright melodies; after all, MØL was the band that made me like anything bm-adjacent to begin with. The obvious power metal moments remind me of Moonlight Sorcery. Epic album, to say the least. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the discog

Everything's dummy good but their first two don't really lean into any of the PM/almost glam metal vibes. Definitely almost as posi vibes tho off Onryo, Spiraling Chasms I forget lol
