this is going deep into late 2010s Sput-lore but I thought I remember hearing he was writing and publishing for a legit (non-user based) music type news site? and that although he hasn't posted here since 2019ish he was still involved with moderating the forums (RIP) and sputnik in general behind closed doors. for all I know I got trolled lol but he did manage to keep his "Staff" user tag despite being inactive for 5 years so it seems possible. Usually those user tags change to Emeritus
