Listening a couple of months on and I'm surprised how my opinions have changed on certain tracks.
Still love 'Anthem Part 3', 'Bad News', 'Blink Wave' but I really dislike 'Terrified' after liking it initially. It sounds awful, like Tom's singing into an electric fan on the last chorus.
Outside of the intro riff (which sounds like 3 different BCR songs) it's very uninteresting and a slog to get through, only to be followed up by the overly sentimental title track.
I'm also more concerned about how 'Fell In Love' doesn't sound bad to me anymore, it was hands down my worst on the record but now it just kind of floats by.

Ready to conclude that Dance With Me is the best song here, should have been the comeback single over Edging

"One Last Time." I even bought a vinyl. But it's a form of closing an era of my life, I think. I'm happy they reunited for this album, but the sound was rather disappointing and uninspired, like seeing your old friends once a year on Christmas. Always nice to do and always ultimately disappointing. Neither meaningful nor fun. I can't see myself returning to this album – or much of Blink's music. Or pop punk in general, for that matter. Maybe I'm too old, or the sound has aged. Maybe I'm just depressed though, will let you know in a year if 'pop punk is over' still holds true.

You rated this a 3.5? Also seeing old friends at Christmas is meaningful and fun..
I hope you get better!

Why wouldn’t I? It was not a *bad* record. Just like old friends remain good. But neither meet the expectations of greatness lost in memory or in time, if you know what I mean. Anyway — thanks! You too

I think I'll have to travel to California in July to see them, because of scheduling conflicts, but I can't risk they disband before I go haha
