This album is such a classic. So damn smooth and quality front to back. Butt in the Meantime, The Choice Is Yours, Similak Child, UNE Pull and Gimme the Finga are my favorites. Had this one cassette along with the first Digable Planets and Coolio- Gangsters Paradise as a kid and I straight up wore all three of them out. If I remember right they were in the glovebox of a car my dad bought to flip and I felt like I hit the jackpot when I found them

when I think of hip-hop as a whole I think of albums like this, not any modern hip-hop. this is quintessential genre-defining goodness that will continue to endlessly age like fine wine into the future.
