I'm really tempted to bump this up to a 5. Even though it's only an EP, it beats most full albums out there today.

it's just that there's only 4 songs =[

I have no shame in giving this a 5. It feels like an epic, full-length album.

I like a lot of Oceansize songs but often find the albums dragging for too long for me. So I dig their EPs more.

The last three songs put together is absolutely mindblowing...this is amazing

great EP agreed. Oceansize delivers, but I also believe their albums can drag on a bit. Sometimes the magic 30-40 minutes is sufficient.

Damn these guys were good, why did they have to be such fucktards and break up. Jamming this ep first the first time in awhile today.

"the EP is pretty rare btw, I don't think there's any chance of getting a physical copy. (not that long ago I saw an offer for about 50€!!!)"

Lols just won this on ebay for £2.20

Good review, Paper Champion is a masterpiece.

Funnily enough the first time I heard Oceansize four and a half years ago I was hooked immediately, took me no time at all. They're still my favourite band by a LONG way.

Fuck you, Mad.

Yeah, I'd agree; I got hooked on Catalyst straight away and have never looked back. Frames is a bit of a grower though.

Dead Dogs is the best here btw

I don't agree about your statement about this EP being "hard to get into".
This is easily the most accessible release next to "Everyone into Position"

No bump in over 4 years. Shame. Giving this another listen cause I only skimmed over it the first time. The opener is absolutely insane.

Band is simply ridiculous. One of the best to have ever done it

So this is my first experience with this band and I loved every second. I'm looking forward to diving into their rest of their discography

Great band

I've not heard any of their EPs though. They appear to have rather a lot of them which is interesting.

I might try and tackle a few of the essentials (+ still not heard their final LP either, whoops)
