Can't be stuffed Mordy. It's like 13 minutes long or something and there is already a long-a$$ review for it. I tell you what; I'll compromise & put up a comment/sound-off by early next week, if not the weekend.

Well, this was the patch where I planned to stop reviewing albums & make sure I listened to a lot of people's top picks of the year... So what does this idiot do? Pick up his reviewing pace.

This album got me into Funeral For A Friend, and while this is my least favourite album by them, i am listening again now and realise all the reasons i loved it in the first place. Saying they sold out isnt true, they simply evolved into something else, and it was hardly a shock, looking at their discography it was always coming.

Very well said IfYouRun. I don't think you can under-estimate how many extra fans FFAF picked up with this album. Sure, they lost some as well, but not as many as they gained, I think.

Not long until their newie now.

I don't understand the hate for this album, it's a legit alt rock album. This album has some of my favorite Funeral For A Friend tracks, The Diary and All Hands on Deck pts 1 and 2 fucking rule

Agreed. I guess many fans couldn't take the dramatic change in style/sound

The Diary is so good. One of their best songs for me.

It got way too much abuse I think. Loads of great tracks, and I was so gutted when they went back to trying to rewrite their old stuff again and again immediately after.

Agreed. Was not much of a fan of Conduit tho. Those vocals...

Yeah Conduit is pretty much the nail in the coffin in regards to my interest in this band. I agree Armageddon was good though.

Ridiculously underrated album. Some of the best instrumental sections in FFAF history, and Matt's strongest vocal performance. The two-parter halfway through is an absolute stonker.

Want to rank the FFAF discography so that means finally I have to actually give this a chance.

Just when it seemed like this album was ageing well, a bad Storm comes along. :-)
