I agree mostly with your review. However what you state as low points (as in the songs being "underwritten") I actually find quite novel. This is, in my humble opinion, is a very good garage rock expedition. Very satisfying. I think that on the inverse "Maps" and "Modern Romance" are kind of boring. However I think that they would be better placed on their second album, where it wouldn't be such a surprising twist. Because it feels weird transitioning from the rest of the songs' pure energy to the contemporary feel of Maps and Modern Romance.
