Whole Lotta Love" is easily the worst Led Zeppelin song. I can't see how it is good, in any way.

I agree. This is probably my least favorite album of theirs

II is an incredible album. Jone's bass work on the Lemon song just stuns me every time I listen to it. Thank You has to be one of the most beautiful songs I've heard from Zeppelin.

5/5

How can you knock points off of Living Loving Maid for the message? How can you like rock n' roll and take points off a song for it being about womanizing?

I'd say this album is 5. My fave zep album

Because I'm not an addict that beats his wife for pure amusement. That was pretty ignorant, man. Rock N Roll doesn't have to be sleazy to be good.

I know man. But not everybody who listens to stuff like that is someone like that. Its just an aspect that is definitely not foreign to rock n roll, and youve got to expect it sometimes.

My point is, you don't have to sing about womanizing in order to be accepted as a rock n roll artist.

One of my favourite Zeppelin albums, mainly for the Lemon Song and Bring It On Home. Oh, and the drum solo in Moby Dick. I'd give anything to be able to play like that. Except my arms. Anyway...This Message Edited On 12.29.05

To my ears every new single on the radio sounds like an exact replica of the previous hit.

I love this early Zeppelin stuff. Its for a different reason than I love the later stuff though. The blues influence is great. "The Lemon Song"'s vocals are so powerful. Bonzo was the greatest drummer ever. So powerful, and I would say controlled but I can't because Bonham was a crazy man on a set of drums. Fantastic album by an unparalleled band.

An amazing Led Zep album, probably my fave. Theres so much great music on here. Ramble On is a ledgendary acoustic/rock song and Moby Dick is an awsome song to learn on guitar!

Lemon Song all the way. Phenomonal playing by every member and you can't help but feel like hot shit when the drums kick in with that bluesy riff.
