You think pretty much every band blows so I'm not surprised that you said that.

Umm, nothing much to say on the music Maxy… Sounds awful. But good review mate… Seemed to flow well & be easy to read (apart from the cow slaughtering part).

Their whole image is there to push their vegetarian agenda.

Sounds good on first listen but I wish more of their songs went along the lines of the first 3 tracks. Songs like "The ripe beneath the rind" are ridiculous. You can barely make out a single word in the entire song! This Message Edited On 03.27.09

@ Asiatic667: Their whole image is there to push their vegetarian agenda.

Their original demo had pro-vegan themes to it, however, if you read the lyrics to this album, it has nothing to do with vegetarianism. The entire idea that they're vegetarian fanatics was pushed by the metal press, and in interviews the members of stated that it really annoys them.

Every one of their album before this was laughable, but this one is really pretty good. Brutal Death parts, and some really beautiful softer parts, but they're thrown in tastefully and don't feel forced like many other bands that try similar styles.

Also, good review.

Nicely written review, some grammar and spell check touch ups needed, other than that, to the point and well written. (Might want to get rid of repetition in second last paragraph)

I also reflect the "surprisingly enjoyable" clause, but i have to disagree with you about some of the ambient interludes: I actually thought most of them were pretty tastefully thrown in.

Favorite track is probably, "Regret and The Grave" (most accessible as well)

"Cattle Decapitation still knows how to fucking shred shi apart"

Idk if you were just trying to avoid the filter but there's just a nit picky thing right there.

I don't think it's as generic as the review explains.

In my opinion, it's one of the best Metal albums released this year.

You actually have to listen to it, not skim over it in 2 or 3 listens.
