The best songs in my opinion are Cecilia and the silhouette saloon, the shame, The salesman denver max, and fuckings greatest hits

This cd rocks. I just recently made the connection that the drummer is the brother of Gatsby's drummer. Must run in the family.
Cecilia and fuckings greatest hits are my favs. The title track is up there too.

This album gets a 4 outta 5. Its so fun and good. I even dig the cheesy, nasal singing on the title track.

the salesman, denver max is an addicting song and easily my favorite on the album

This album is their best I think. Technically satisfying, original, and still somewhat relentless (though not as much as their previous albums) They are outstanding live, although when i saw them, they mostly played crimes songs because apperantly playing a lot of BPIB songs is just too strenuous on Johnny and Jordan. The funny thing is after hearing Neon Blonde and Headwound city, it is easy to see who contributed what to the band, and who had more influence of the last two albums.
(oh yea, i noticed nobody mentioned 6 nightmares at the pinball masquarade as a favorite! That one is classic, and of course cecilia)This Message Edited On 09.06.06

The only credit I give these guys is for their undeniable tightness and sheer randomness. Beyond that, I found this album to be unrelentingly annoying and obtusely unmusical.
Not for me, I guess.

I almost got this yesterday, but decided otherwise. Should I go back and get this, or leave it alone?
