It's because I can't draw a Santa hat.
I'm going to think of something better in due time, because yours can't be competed with. :-*

I had antlers on a Moz pic last year, I might break it out for posterity's sake.

Oh oh I liked that Jarvis picture. I don't want to get rid of Laurie though
Maybe I'll relegate the Jarvis fellow to my profile picture
Oh he's my favourite awkward nerd

hey Sylvia you should send me those Last Christmas songs someday.
For some reason my local top 40 radio station has thrown "Everything She Wants" into standard rotation, which is kind of odd considering it hasn't been top 40 for like 20 years. But interesting to hear between the Pussycat Dolls and Kelly Clarkson I suppose.

This album's cool, but the previous one made my ears bleed. I think I'll review that at some point when I need to write a 'bad' review after doing 20 four's in a row and my integrity gets questioned and people start throwing rocks at me.
omg dibs.

oh god, people like their "MUSIC".
this reminds me of jellybeans and lollypops if they could advertise commercial hair.

Wham! is awesome. 'Wake Me Up' is one of the best pure pop songs ever released. Reminds me of that 'petrol fight' scene in Zoolander aswell, absolute quality! This Message Edited On 05.16.08

This deserves at least a 4. There aren't many tracks but none of them are weak. It's more consistent than several other famous albums of the period.
From the main review:
""Like A Baby" and "Credit Card Baby" are next to unlistenable."
That's nonsense. Like a Baby is a nice change of pace, like the Beach Boys 'Let's Go Away for Awhile'. And the reviewer seemed to be praising the motown influence in their music but then dismisses Credit Card Baby for some puzzling reason.
I agree about the importance of the pop movement in 80s music. That was something that was sadly missing in the 90s and so the lack of understanding some seem to have for this music.

*Careless Whisper Sax Intro
|
| |
Just had to say, after reading the comments on page one (even though it was written many years ago), that Careless Whisper was written as a solo by George Michael, but he wrote it during his time in Wham! and in the end decided to have it on the album. Pretty good decision, I'd say.

*Looks at album cover*
How the fuck did no one in the 80s realise this guy was gay?

"Last Christmas" is one of the few Christmas songs that isn't one of the 'classics' that rules.
