what im syaing is that a lot of the average-ish bands (even from Perth) still put on decent live shows, despite being mediocre. if you want some good aussie dm though (new and old), here's a bunch of bands to check out. you may already know some.

i know innsmouth, stargazer, cruciform, the dead and portal. i'll check out the rest though. i don't know if it has to do with the live production or the venues, but most of the bands i see sound sloppy live.
