He clearly has a really weak scream, but it did add to the heaviness quite well before. I don't know, Ill Nino is one of those bands thats good to start off with while getting into Metal. But nothing I'd hold on to. WAY too repetetive.

not a bad review, but i disagree with you on the first two tracks. i think they are awesome. i really like this album. my least favourite would be what you deserve. yes its very catchy, yes i find myself humming it alot, but its very radiofriendly and not a good reflection on what ill nino are about.

There's some good songs on here. La Liberacion, What You Deserve, and Turns To Grey own. Some of the other songs, not so much.

I agree with that statement from Thesunsleeps. Ill Nino is one of the better nu-meal bands. And everyone knows nu-metal is the transition from going from easy-to-listen-to-bands to metal. Also, you're the most awesome person ever Wikuk.

I think the best track on the album is This is War - the only track I still listen to off this album other than What You Deserve. I disliked it at first, but i really grew. Plus I think the Spanish guitar sounds great. It's nice to slow the song down and give it a contemplative feel after the assault of the rest of the track. Still, I pretty much think this band is lame overall with some highlight tracks.

I think your review is not that bad, except for the extremely low rating of the song my resurrection which actually is one of the best songs of the album, and I personally think anyone who dont like that song dont know how to appreciate good heavy stuff.

Personally think this is one of the peak albums of latter era nu metal. 2005 was when it was at the end of its mainstream peak so that's what should be considered latter era (up until, like, 2007 because that's when Korn released an industrial album, Limp Bizkit were pretty much dead, Slipknot were trying to do groove metal and pretty much every other nu metal band of the age was broken up/a different genre. The revival of the past 4 years doesn't count).

"What You Deserve" is the only song I've ever listened to these guys really, but it's so good.
