now THIS is a proper review, although I don't get this:
Steve Righ? (a.k.a. the guitarist of Mindless Self Indulgence who is basically a low-grade version of Fat Mike)
regardless, phlebas should check this out.

Excellent review. I'm glad someone actually agrees with me that the Black Parade wasn't as bad as people made it out to be for the simple reason that, despite the preteen melodrama, the band put a lot of passion and effort into the album, making it worth at least one listen. After listening to the first two songs, I understand how horribly wrong the album can go--actually, just the cover looks godawful.

Great review.
regardless, phlebas should check this out.
Why's that
|
| |
Why does everything on this website have to relate to Thrice in some way?
|
| |
I think I may be the only person that actually likes this album.

gets old quick, but still is a decent album.

Never posted on here but thought I'd give my two cents. I get that MCR is polarizing but I don't understand some of the
hate on this album. Comparing MCR to Thrice? Really? Just because they're popular, doesn't mean they suck. This is a
more than solid rock and roll album. MCR has a talent for writing big, catchy choruses and songs like Scarecrow, Sing
and Summertime would definitely qualify. I realize there's an "emo" stigma that goes with this band (primarily because
of their fanbase), but it's unfortunate because they are one of the few modern acts that consistently put together
memorable and creative LP's. Black Parade was one of the biggest rock albums of the 90's, and Danger Days, in my
opinion, is a very strong follow-up.
