Dragon Age is best on the PC. Better graphics and menu. Though I admit I'm not much of a console player. Actually playing it right now as a human mage.

The interesting thing about the choices in DA is that the morality is very grey. What seems like the right decision doesn't always turn out for the best in the end. Sometimes you do the right thing for the right reasons only to learn in the epilogue that there were negative consequences down the line. And of course, you'll be able to import your saved games to DA2 and see how the decisions you made affect everything.

tbh DA2 looks pretty gay. no offence or anything, I'm just not gettin a good vibe from it so far.
