Dev, I'm kinda offended they put this and Kid A in the same statement.

Look at what you just did.

oh my god...I saw the 5 and thought this was a joke. This album is insipid and entirely devoid of anything musically coherent.

I find it hilarious that MTV compared this to Kid A. They probably wouldn't even listen to Kid A if they had to.

That being said, solid review mate - especially for a first. Despite the decidedly very arguable nature of this review's content, I feel like you did a solid job in setting up this review. For now, my only criticism would be that you should be wary of using phrases like "Many people think X", "Many people believe X", or "Many people feel X"...for who is this "many people". It is a blind assertion that is neither convincing nor effective, and needs to go in order for any review to be taken seriously.

But again, solid start; welcome to the site. And do have a pos. Hope to hear more from you soon!

Watching the 'making of' made me hate this album, it was obviously their st anger (the whole band not getting on thing) and mike shinoda (lars) being the boss of everything and putting pointless stupid sounds in every last beat he could.

I wouldn't be surprised if the band break up after this tour.

Once again my personal knowledge of MTV is disproved by all of sputnik. But seriously I've only watch MTV once in my life and they were playing Aphex Twin- window licker.

This is definitely underrated, but I don't think it's a 5. Still, you're entitled to your opinion and it wasn't a bad review, just watch the fanboyisms a little more.

Whatever to all the nay sayers. This album is great and this band is truly progressive. It's the exact direction I wanted Linkin Park to go in.

This album is their best in years. doesn't mean it's that good.

Unless your the popular media, and you have masturbatory impulses to compare every rock album to Radiohead. I

mean, it's not like MTV was the only one.

unfortunately though you're not the popular media, so your opinion is dead wrong. decent review though.

Album isn't that terrible.

And isn't he referring to the MTV review and what not?

btw, lyrics ARE far better than in any other album. Except for a few lines here and there, the lyrics are a lot, lot better.
