One of the only good bands from my state. Their other album is better but this isn't too bad.
Review suffers from the same horribly awkward writing I mentioned in your Thou review. It is so
unfriendly to the reader, especially when your first sentence:
Where black metal is needed, heavily influenced by the folk style comes Appalachian themed
but United States made, ‘Falls of Rauros’.
Is so clumsily worded and punctuated you'd have to put some thought into it to make it more so.
Before you go and try to fix your style to be more "to the point" please brush up on your grammar.
Also, sentences like this:
When listeners first try out Into the Archaic it can be assumed that they will first look for
the positives.
Fall under that "painfully obvious" category that I mentioned in your Thou review, right alongside
the "This atmosphere will make the album better or worse (imagine that!)" brand of of pointlessness.

Pretty much everything Dev has said is what I picked up on. Nice review! Your wording, syntax and construction are getting much better as you continue. And as said above, sometimes, being straight to the point is better than obscure metaphor flinging. But I like the review. Have a pos! Keep it up!

Not your best review, but still pretty good. And you are definitely getting better. I'd say try the "to the point" style for your next few reviews, and see if you are more comfortable with that. But nonetheless, pos'd.

For anyone who cares this band will be releasing their newest LP "The Light That Dwells In Rotten Wood" later this year featuring Austin Lundr on drums. Pretty excited to hear it.

I'm hoping, which features stand out more to you? Musicianship, Production, Length, Content, Individual Performance? I actually had just heard this, reviewed it then stopped looking further.

This was unmemorable and a bit sloppy (which I was kind of expecting) but Hail Wind is better executed and as a whole is more developed.

So better in an overall sense? I'll have to give it a look over.
