after listening to some of it the review makes a lot of sense. they don't do much i haven't heard before but this is pretty good. plus this band happens to be practically local and I didn't know they existed

yeah I feel the same, came as quite a shock that this was as good as it was. a really consistently great offering. :]

really enjoyed the ep these guys put out a couple years back. seemed an alternative to yndi halda with a similar mood

i prefer this to yndi halda :]

by the way this review doesn't really say anything at all. it says they don't do anything new over and over then says theyre a very relatable/optimistic band and then that they aren't reinventing the wheel but thats ok cause they don't have to or some shit

you could have condensed this whole review into five sentences and had just as much info

well what else do you think i should include? :]
i don't like talking about specific moments in a post-rock review because it tends to totally ruin the listen if I'm like "the climax in track 2 is amazing!" because people will listen just waiting for that.

this is so beautiful. really really beautiful. album is basically the first movement of godspeed's "storm" drawn out to 50 minutes.
