Can i get a no trolling explanation of what this is all about?

Back in like 2009 some dudes on Last.fm ganged together in an effort to regularly inhabit/troll the Opeth shoutbox with their very unfunny memes about the band, often comparing Akerfeldt to Chad Kroeger of Nickelback whilst also singing the praises of things like soft, furry kittens and hot, melted cheese. One day while the group of trolls were anticipating the release of Opeth's Heritage with the regular shitposting, it turns out one of them (at the time unidentified) had made a full parody album of their interpretation of the band as a cock rock icon, and what was just a meme had actually turned into actual music.

The track 'Ode to Chad' lists all the users involved in the shitposting, except one, which they eventually figured out was the guy who was actually making the parody music you see before you. I forget his username. He really loved the original Fallout games, that's all I remember about him.

Oh wait the reviewer here (Schizo, one of the members of the illustrious gang) claims it was 2011 in his review. I guess it probably was 2011 then. Felt earlier than that. A long time ago, anyway.

Wait, looking at the username list on the review now, I feel like it may have been MinstrelKnight who was actually making the music. I can't quite remember.
