user clearly needs to learn that you don't criticise a review for not having the same opinion as you. though evidently, the reviewer liked this album. i guess some people deride a 3.0 as if it's negative, just because there are a good few ratings above it, but a 3.0 is still a good album.

listened to this followed by tertia on a 2 hour drive today. somehow it seemed to work well. last track on this has the heavier edge that eases into the tertia sound. needless to say it was a fucking awesome drive. concluded that this doesn't have any songs to reach the heights of ghosts of the garden city or of foam and wave, but every song comes very close.
also, the four trees sucks

The problem I have with post-rock is that it's all enjoyable, pretty, music. When it all sounds pretty, it's hard to figure out when song in particular is actually of wholesome quality.
