The dude abides.

Pretty good write up dude. Unfortunately your right. Good modern thrash albums seem to be few and far in between nowadays. Most modern thrash that comes out is painfully standard and not very creative. This is a dead genre. Yet i can't stop listening to new bands in the hopes that I will find a diamond in the rough.

idk I enjoy modern thrash, this is about as good as the generic bands can be
Vektor bring it and i love Revocation but they're really the only ones that deserve anything above 3.5

Thats the problem. Out of all the thrash bands i listened to last year, only a couple got a rating higher than a 3.5 for me.

Why the hurry on finding modern thrash, with so much classics waiting to be discovered?

props for reviewing this even though you didn't really care for it, pos'd. You also did a good job of explaining the positive aspects of the album even though it was a generally negative review.
