the little snippet i heard of this was gorgeous, i dont think it's far fetched to say casey is one of the most talented people in modern music

I'll definitely listen to this. Casey is a madman. Color Spectrum, Migrant, and now this. Quite a break from the Acts.

Great review and go Casey you crazy bastard

Sounds like an interesting LP. But I'm not buying from Itunes, so I guess I gotta wait

Phenomenal review, mang. So stoked to check this out

Big fan of the dear hunter but don't listen to much classical music. Hmmm. I'll probably still give this a listen though.

It's ridiculous how much talent and ambition this man has.

Interesting...definitely gonna check this out. Good review, mate.

This sounds like my kind of thing. I hope it's gloomy and depressing

"I hope it's gloomy and depressing"
you read the review ya?

Yeah I know you said it's not gonna have any sob-inducing epiphanies, I can still hope.
Isn't really fair that we can't listen to this yet

I dunno why he doesn't stream this, I bet he's waiting until later in the month when physical releases drop. And technically it did leak at a certain website one would need an invitation to access.

well its up on gplay but strangely movement 2 is missing - sounding like dvorak-lite to me pretty nice

Oh, snap. I didn't know Casey was releasing a solo album. I'm gonna have to check this out for sure. I've loved all the works he's thrown out so far.

Quite cinematic; Casey would do well as a film-scorer.

Hey guys, this is lovely! Just so you know, it is up on Spotify for your listening pleasure, under his name Casey Crescenzo! Check it out! By the way, I heard in a podcast in the last few months, that he plans to release his next Act by 2016 or so, as well as work on another Symphony.

No comment for 5 years? Damn. Do people even know this exists?
Generally very similar to what I imagined from this as a symphony written by the Dear Hunter guy. Admittedly kinda aimless and meandering at times, but it has some great moments, especially the ending of the first two tracks. Movement III has some beautiful arrangements in its middle part, but it ends kinda unsatisfying. I'll ponder a bit about the rating for this.
