Neither did I, but here I am... :-/

Oh shit this is good.

The way those melodies float in the air above the brutal kick on tracks like "Winter" and "Aleph" is just incredible.

Just figured it's a bit sad only the same five people or so listen to this and similar stuff on this site... "Oh album is not Autechre or BoC? Well, don't care then."

^ this

Still, someone like Dev has the reputation to kick the number of listens up quite a bit. That or being p4k BNM.

Only him though. And he doesn't even review things anymore, except Burial.

I find electronic music to consistently be the most diverse and interesting source of music by miles too, I'm surprised more people who spend time on a music review site don't decide to branch out more often.

Probably because it's this music review site. For all the talk of wanting to branch out and whatnot, everyone would rather remain in their own little musical bubbles

not having more or less the same 5 lists featured all the time might help (:

Because there's such a wealth of worthy lists to choose from

Yeah, this isn't exactly the best platform to branch out if you don't happen to find some of the gems of lists that deviate from the norm.

Because there's such a wealth of worthy lists to choose from

Because there's no point in making worthy lists if they get buried by "xyz ranked" and "i pooped on my cat" in no time.
I mean sure, the majority of the user base not caring for anything outside of the usual in the first place is the bigger problem but that's never gonna change with the way things are right now.

The notion of featuring lists completely negates the "getting buried" argument
