Most people seem to think this one is better so far, at least from what I'm seeing. Def excited to jam. m/

Vocals kind of remind me of Buddy Lackey's (Psychotic Waltz) work with Deadsoul Tribe.

Which, of course, it's awesome.

im like the only one who really prefers Sorrow and Extinction over this.. idk what it is but the riffs dont hit as hard.. maybe the production.. idk.

@ EyesWideShut - Really? I think the production on Sorrow and Extinction keeps the riffs from hitting as hard as they do on this one. To each his own though.

ShadowsRemains, totally agree. The riffs are massive and the vocals fit the music really well.

Beautiful recording. What a wall of guitars, so many layers. Honey and Sap dripping everywhere. Resonation make this a great album for the car. Vox are like Ozzy and Geddy Lee are possessing the same body. A lot of craft and care has gone into the chord changes and just because it is slow, doesn't mean it's not complex.

Not seeing a 4.5 though, a solid 4 is perfect for this.

Love this band/album. It's refreshing to sit through a doom metal album that plays start to finish, perfectly paced and full of badass riffs. In 2014 anyway.

I've only given this 2 listens so far, but as of now I'd say they're kinda equal. This one might be a little better.

Really well written review. I can't help but feel like I'm listening to a Candlemass album but I have to say, they deliver the goods.

Sounds like they wrote both albums at once (which isn't a bad thing).

Thanks Wizard. Yeah they definitely wear their influences on their sleeves. I am really enjoying it as much as I've enjoyed any metal release this year except for maybe The Great Old Ones newest.
