Yeah definitely, these guys have been one of my favorite bands for YEARS, and it took me so long before I could even get through an entire listen of Cope. I especially hate how much production they put on Andy's voice, he has an amazing voice and you can't even tell on Cope.
My buddy told me about Hope the day they announced it and I literally got giddy when he played me a song from it

Like I said on the last page, Like a Virgin - Mean Everything to Nothing - Simple Math is one of my favourite run of albums in the last however many years
and Nobody Sings Anymore + 5 Stores + all the other EPs are fantastic as well so Cope was just so unpleasantly unexpected
this though, this is the best surprise in ages. had no idea until literally the day it dropped and damn

Yeah I can definitely agree with that, I'm Like a Virgin and Mean Everything to Nothing were two phenomenal albums, and Simple Math wasn't AS good IMO, but it was still great. I would be so happy if for their next album they stick with a Hope/Mean Everything to Nothing/I'm Like a Virgin sound

Simple Math has a few not-so-good jams but the best songs on there are easily some of the best of their career like TITLE TRACK FUCK ME
I would love them to follow up on this and go somewhere they haven't been before because they excel at that
