This discussion reminds me of when Hanson said that Transgender Dysphoria Blues was one of the best albums of the year, when in reality it was just some ok folk punk that had me thinking "OKAY WE GET IT YOU'RE TRANS IT'S HARD" by the end.

I'm kind of surprised at the amount of people who have never checked out one of their albums before

I'm not interested into the genre like at all. A lot of people probably feel the same

Truthfully I don't know if I could take this seriously after watching portlandia.

Dude, we're 23 days into the year

I giggled.

Thought this was ok. Nothing particularly great. That said this is my first experience of Sleater-Kinney, so.

Yeah all their albums are different so this might not have been the best introduction

Jacob, I'm surprised you didn't like the middle/end of the record. "No Anthems" has massive Annie Clark vibes, albeit darker and heavier.

Great review, Adam! I'm really, REALLY enjoying this album. First time listening to these chicks, I am honestly impressed - once this is under my skin, I'll dig deeper into their discography!
