@Ali

John Grant was the first person I was reminded of, as well, while listening to this.

His voice and musical pallet are very much alike, and there's also plenty of similarities in their lyrical style. Personally I find Grant's humorous and sarcastic take on romance far more endearing, but I'm enjoying this nonetheless.

I think it's cute and pretty well executed, but that's about it so far. I think it has potential to grow on me so I'll see how I feel in a month or two

Really digging this album's frankness. It's not the same old trite, worn out cliches over and over again. Didn't know who this was before so it was a nice surprise.

I need to listen to this. Haven't heard anything from FJM since that Kid Cudi track he appeared on.

Ideal Husband is one that really struck a chord. Early mornings after a binge. Over thinking, over analyzing, self imposed guilt, desperation.

I'm surprised, I imagine it'll be right up your street. Queen of Denmark is one of my favourite records of the decade so far, and Pale Green Ghosts is fantastic too.

Three songs in and it sounds like a Nilsson record. So you know I'm down.
